Cliches - My Pet Hates
These are my all time favourite pet hate cliches used by mental health staff, guaranteed to make steam come out of my ears. Feel free to add your own.
Juli. :-
1) Take a perfumed bath and light candles. - (And I'll be cured?).
2) Write a timetable of your day. - (And I'll be cured ?).
3) "There's no quick fix".
4) "There's no magic wand." - (You don't say.)

Re: Cliches - My Pet Hates
Julie,
Forgive me to laugh, but when I last visited my doctor and told her how angry I was with the caller from the department who was to arrange me a couselling session due to his rudeness and abrupt attitude. She told me to ask for his contact number (as he with-holds them) and although he said he would send me a letter by post to confirm a date for counselling, he has neither sent me a letter or phoned me again!
So in effect I am unable to comment on Mental Health Staff as they appear to me to be non existant!
On that note, I updated my doctor and she insists I get counselling (she accepts I am better now but she says the future could change due to the cause of my circumstances) but I told her I probably might not need it!
I am feeling much better now though it has taken me just over 3 months to get here.
Last week I suffered the occasional gasping for breath whilst asleep but that was due to the murderer having to return to my (local crown court) to face charges prior to the court case.
I will update you on that (which has pi--ed me off big time...
